On behalf of the Friends of the Library thank you for your support of their Cookie, Candy, Soup & Bread Sale fundraiser! Thank you also to everyone who brought items and volunteered to help. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Dial-A-Story, Reading is FUN (RIF), live performances and much more!

James Patterson’s latest novel is “The Picasso Heist.” A previously unknown Picasso painting, worth a hundred million dollars is discovered in the attic of a French villa. Everyone wants to possess it, but only one person knows how to take it – she’s the rival none of the power players see coming. “The Picasso Heist” is available digitally in Libby.

Other new fiction books are “The Impossible Fortune” by Richard Osman, “Cold Burn” by A.J. Landau, “Coyote Hills” by Jonathan Kellerman, “The Summer You Were Mine” by Jill Francis, “Hard Men to Kill” by William W. Johnstone, “The Unseen” by Kat Martin, “The Persian” by David McCloskey and “If We Survive This” by Racquel Marie. “After We Burned” by Marieke Nijkamp is among new young adult books.

New non-fiction includes “Heart, Life, Music” by Kenny Chesney and “Thousands, Not Billions: Challenging an Icon of Evolution: Questioning the Age of Earth” by Dr. Donald B. DeYoung.

The Lenna Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new chapter books “Worst Love Spell Ever” by Wanda Coven, “Quint & Dirk’s Hero Quest” by Max Brallier and “Spy School Blackout” by Stuart Gibbs. Among the newer picture books are “Mr. Willowby’s Head Over Heels Christmas” by Robert Barry, “Elmore and the Big Christmas Rescue” by Dev Petty, “The Twelve Days of Christmas Dogs” by Amanda Sobotka, “Little Santa” by Jon Agee and “The Gift of Words” by Peter H. Reynolds.

“Winter Wonderland!” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for preschool-aged children. The Friends of the Library sponsor the 24/7 storyline, Dial-A-Story. Call 307-334-3274 anytime to hear a recorded story!

Your library card number (29092…) and PIN will give you access to your account where you can renew some items, place holds on local items and request interlibrary loans. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
