Thursday Movie: Minions, the Rise of Gru

Kevin, Bob, Stuart, Otto, and the other Minions help 12-year-old Gru build a lair and weapons so he can commit a spectacular crime and impress the Vicious 6. Gru has been wanting to join the supervillains’ organization for a long time, and when its leader Wild Knuckles was ousted, he was granted an interview by the remaining members. Rated PG, 90 minutes.
