Mr. and Mrs. Val R. DeGroot of Garland, Texas, are the happy parents of a daughter born Friday, Oct. 10th, at Whitesboro, Texas. The young lady, who tipped the scales at seven pounds and eleven ounces, has been named Valorie Ann. Maternal grandmother is Mrs. D. R. Huffaker of Whitesboro, Tex. Paternal grandmother is Mrs. C. E. DeGroot, Sr., of Lusk.
