Lindsey Vanessa Serres, daughter of Renee Serres of Lusk, was born at 6:05 a.m. on Monday, according to M. Smith, M. D. As the first baby born to a Niobrara County resident, Lindsey and her mother will be showered with gifts from local businesses. Lindsey weighed an even five pounds at birth and measured 20 inches. She is doing well, her mother said from the hospital Tuesday. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Serres of Lusk. Great-grandparents are Don Harkens and Gerty Harkens of Crawford, NE.
