Heidi and Travis Pearson of Mitchell, S.D., are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, a boy. Preston Travis Pearson was born Sept. 4, 1992, in Mitchell. He weighed 8 lbs. and was 21 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Rocky and Judy Phipps of Lusk. Maternal great-grandparents are June and Dale Terrell of Lusk and great-great grandmother is Juanita Phipps, also of Lusk.
Paternal grandparents are Chuck and Carol Pearson of Lusk. Paternal great-grandmothers are Olive Spenny and Marcella Pearson, both of Lemmon, S.D.
