Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mahoney of Douglas are the parents of a son born Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Converse County Memorial Hospital in Douglas. The baby which was premature, weighed 3 lbs. and 4 ounces at birth. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Gillespie are maternal grandparents. Mrs. Mahoney was released from the hospital Sunday evening but the baby will remain in the hospital for several weeks.
