Matt and Karla VandeBossche of Lusk announce the birth of their son, Derick on April 29, 1997, at 10:43 a.m. at Community Hospital in Torrington. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 13.8 ounces and was 21 inches long.
The VandeBossches have one other child, Matthew, 18 months.
Grandparents are Richard and Joan VandeBossche of Edgemont, S.D., and Roger and Reta Ridgway of Avon, S.D. Great-grandparents are Leola Rigdon of Avon and Helen Wagner of Tyndall, S.D.
