Jeanine Marie Nelson
Mr. and Mrs. Royce Nelson of Lusk are the proud parents of a daughter born Saturday August 29. She has been named Jeanine Marie and tipped the scales at 4 lbs. 5 oz. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Felt of Lance Creek are the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Linden Nelson, also of the field are the paternal grandparents. Mrs. Charles Gaukel of Keeline is the paternal great-grandmother. Congratulations!
Nelson's Daughter Refused to Wait
At 10:15 Saturday, Royce Nelson, assistant cashier at the Stockmans National Bank, received an urgent phone call from his expectant wife Carolyn. He rushed home only to find that there wasn't time to take his wife to the hospital where he had asked a doctor to meet him.
Mrs. Keith Gamble, a neighbor, was also called to take care of the Nelson's other child. She too, arrived in time to help with the newborn child. The doctor soon came to the Nelson home and mother and daughter, Jeanine Marie, are now doing fine. So is the father, but it took him a while to recover.
