David John weaver, son of S/Sgt. and Mrs. James J. Weaver, was the first baby born in the new Niobrara County Hospital. He was born at 11:02 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. Sgt. Weaver is now stationed in Turkey. Mrs. weaver, nee Carol Larson, was born under similar circumstances in World War II when her father, Noal Larson, was in the service.
