Criss Ward Mr. Niobrara of "62
Criss Nolan Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Ward of Manville, arrived at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital at 2:49 a.m. January 4, to win the 12th annual First Baby of the Year contest in Niobrara County.
The baby, weighing 7 lbs. 13 1/2 oz. will not be lonesome when he grows up, since he has three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Ward is employed at the Northside Service Station in Lusk.
Criss, being the first baby to be born in 1962, and his parents, will collect the numerous prized offered by Lusk merchants to the winner of the contest
