Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Sommers of 77 Ranch are the parents of a new baby girl.
Cara Ann was born July 17 at Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. She weighed seven pounds and eight ounces.
She was welcomed at home by her sister, Dana, 3.
Her maternal grandparents are Robert and Patsy Shockley of Hat Creek and her paternal grandparents are the late Charles V. Sommers and Larry and Mary Jo Lund of Torrington.
Clint and Eloise Colvin of Rapid City, SD are Cara's maternal great-grandparents and Hal and Tic Sommers of Encampment, WY and Charles and Kathryn Lund of Lusk are paternal great-grandparents.
