Plumb Buys Bar From Millers

Eddie Plumb has purchased the Silver Dollar Bar from Mr. and Mrs. Mike miller.

Millers have purchased the K Bar Z dude ranch 52 miles northwest of Cody in the fabulous Sunlight Basin country. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will leave in the immediate future, but their children, Mickey, 9, and Karna 12, will remain in Lusk until after school is out. 

Millers purchased the bar from Barney  Miller in 1951 and changed the name from Barney's Bar to Silver Dollar Bar. Until two years ago the business was operated from a location on the west side of Main. At that time  the business was moved to its present location on the corner of second and Main.

Mrs. Opal Plumb, partner in the Silver Dollar Bar in Lusk  was fined $25 and $4 court costs in Justice court last Thursday on charges of employing a female bartender.
