Foster Co. Closing Lusk Lumber Yard

The Foster Lumber Co. is closing its Lusk lumber yard and a major portion of the inventory is being sold to Frontier Lumber.

The inventory purchased by Frontier includes all the lumber, some of the hardware and part of the remaining line of building materials. Foster, a chain business, has operated the business in Lusk since 1913. However, the business here is much older having originally been established in 1886 at almost the same time Lusk was founded. 

Foster has been following a policy of closing yards in many smaller communities and concentrating on yards in large communities. Foster Lumber Co. closed its yard at Lance Creek a number of years ago.
