Photo Shop Purchased By Douglas People

Hazel and Lee Smathers have purchased Flint Studio from Robert C. Dorn and changed the name to Cannon Studio. Mr. and Mrs. Smathers came to Lusk from Douglas.

They plan to continue to operate the Cannon Studio at Douglas and for the present will commute daily to Lusk from Douglas. They have operated the Douglas studio for the last four years. 

Mr. Dorn operated the business for about the past five years. He has moved to Gillette where he will be employed in a filling station. . Mrs. Dorn is the Campbell County Home Demonstration Agent in Gillette.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Smathers are photographers. By training he is also an engineer, They have a two year old daughter Soni. 

TO REMODEL

Smatherses are planning on doing extensive remodeling in the studio which will continue to be housed in the basement below Scotts Jewelry. They have already started making changes in the darkroom facilities and this week-end plan to paint the interior of the studio.
