Manufacturing Old-Fashioned Tables is Started
Horton's, a new Lusk business, is engaged in manufacturing old-fashioned furniture. At present the firm is making old-fashioned dining tables complete with lion's paw legs. The first table was completed last week after several months of installing machinery, securing sources of hardwood and the numerous details that go into setting up a plant.
The business, which is housed in the former Kilmer Creamery building, is well equipped for the manufacturing of all types of old-fashioned furniture.
Mr. Horton, who until recently was an antique dealer in Lusk, believes that there is an especially large demand for the old-fashioned tables. The tables will be made in a variety of woods and finishes.
