Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Higgins Have Purchased the Royal Apartments

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Higgins have purchased the Royal Apartments and took possession the first of this week.  Mrs. Beulah Burgess recently purchased the apartment house from Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Leible and their son Wilfred but she decided it was more of an undertaking than she had anticipated and sold same to Mr. and Mrs. Higgins the past week.  It is understood there will be no change in the name of the building.

P. J. Owens Buys Royal Apartments

P. J. Owens has been more than busy selling and buying real estate during the past week. He sold his town residence, just south of the high school, to Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cox and has purchased the Royal apartments from Mrs. J. W. Higgins.

The residence which was sold is occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barnus and small daughter, who are  now looking for a place to move.

Mr. Owens states that they will not take over the management of the Royal for a month or two. Mrs. Higgins and her late husband have been owners and managers of the Royal Apartments for the past few years.
