Sugar Bowl Cafe` Dressed Up With Fancy Neon Sign
Something new was this week added to the Sugar Bowl Cafe`, owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Lee Siemsen, when a new neon sign depicting the establishment's name was installed.
The sign is a four-color job, portraying a sugar bowl, done in pink, green, yellow and orange, and is of the flicker type, and orange arrow and the border surrounding the word "cafe" alternating in the lighting effect.
The sign was designed by Virgil Quinn, local painting and sign contractor, and was constructed and installed by the Paul Cody Sign Company of Casper. The installing crew spent most of Wednesday and today (Thursday) making the installation.
Quinn also had the contract for moving the huge cowboy sign from its former location to just north of the entrance. The sign is being repositioned, was lowered some three feet from its former height.
