Bernard Thon Buys Osborne's Shoe Repair Shop
Bernard Thon has purchased Osborne's Shoe Repair from Homer L. Osborne. The transaction was effective November 10. Mr. Osborne will remain working with Mr. Thon.
Mr. Osborne plans to move to Rawlins early in 1959 and go into the same line of work there. For the time being the name of the business will not be changed.
Mr. Thon is an experienced leather workman having worked for Tommy Neilson when the manufacturing firm was operating in Lusk. In fact, Mr. Thon says that his work is displayed on TV for the red, white, and blue plastic saddle which Roy Rogers uses on his TV show was made by him.
Mr. and Mrs. Thon have two children, Bob, a freshman at NCHS, and Ronnie, a seventh-grader. Thons come to Lusk from near Keeline where they have lived on a ranch. the family is living in the Lindsay Cashman home in southeast Lusk which they recently purchased.
