Plan to join us for a book signing Friday, December 21 from 3-5 p.m., featuring local author Larid Johnson, and his new book “Yellow Dog Eight”. This just might be the stocking stuffer you have been looking for!

“The small, white puffy clouds moved across the light blue sky like memories across my mind. My memories were of hunting coyotes in old Wyoming for more than thirty years. I remembered the anticipation felt when moving my pretty young wife, two small children, and most of my earthly possessions in the trunk of my Chevy Sport to my new job with the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I remembered the unusual characters with whom I worked through the years and the exciting experiences that went with the job. I remembered the things that I learned about coyotes and predator control and I remembered the satisfaction of helping ranchers save some lambs. Life was good in those days and the time passed too quickly. I’ve recorded some of my memories in this book, Yellow Dog Eight.” – Larid Johnson
