Dinner and a Movie – “Hachi: A Dog’s Tale”

Hachi : A Dog’s Tale is the story of Professor Parker Wilson, a distinguished scholar who discovers a lost Akita puppy on his way home from work. Despite initial objections from Wilson’s wife, Cate, Hachi endears himself into the Wilson family and grows to be Parker’s loyal companion. As their bond grows deeper, a beautiful friendship unfolds embodying the true spirit of family and loyalty, while inspiring the hearts of an entire town. Based on the 1987 Japanese film Hachiko Monogatari.

Deane Tucker, Professor of Humanities at Chadron State College will facilitate the discussion which will include a light meal. The film is rated PG and is 130 minutes.
