Dinner & Movie – “Eight Below”

Inspired by a true story, this action adventure takes place in the extreme wilderness of Antarctica. Three members of an expedition are forced to leave behind their beloved group of sled dogs due to a sudden accident and perilous weather conditions. The expedition leader vows to return to rescue the brave and determined canines.

This event is part of a series that features films about humanity’s most devoted companion, the dog. The film discussion will be facilitated by Deane Tucker, Professor of Humanities at Chadron State College. A light meal will be included. The film is Rated PG, and is 120 minutes.
