Gangsters never refer to themselves as gangsters — they are made-men, wiseguys or “Goodfellas,” which is the name of the film scheduled for Monday, October 26 at 6 p.m. Martin Scorsese exposes the fascinating, mysterious and violent underworld of New York’s Mafia families through the life of insider Henry Hill as he rises from smalltime thug to mobster under the guidance of Jimmy Conway. This searing, epic crime drama based on the chilling true-life best seller Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi. The film is 148 minutes and rated R. A light meal will be available and library programs are free and open to the public.
