The Niobrara County Library will host a book signing presentation August 3rd, from 4-6 p.m. as part of the “100 years of Niobrara County History” celebration.

This book signing program will feature two outstanding authors, June Willson Read, and Anne Willson Whitehead.

June Willson Read will present “Frontier Madam: The Life of Dell Burke, Lady of Lusk” and “Pages from the Past: Stories of Niobrara County Homesteaders”, as well as the children’s book, “Doorway to Adventure” with stories written by June, and “View from an Apple Tree: a Memoir of Courage” by Anna Sharon Logan.

Anne Willson Whitehead’s “A History of Manville, Wyoming and the Manville Ranching Community”, which was completed by Whitehead in 1998, includes a history of the community, the businesses and the people who lived there, which makes this a timeless historical resource. Copies of the book will be available to purchase.
