Hub Whitt to Perform March 16

Hub Whitt will perform at the library on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. A true Western cowboy, Hub’s songs, poems, music and stories come to life with minute details and comedic touches. He has shared the stage with such acts as Chris LeDoux, Baxter Black, Riders of the Purple Sage, Jean Prescott and Brenn Hill, and won awards from the American Songwriter Magazine for “One More Rodeo” and “When the Nighthawk Hollered Horses.” Hub has participated in the annual Buffalo Bill Historical Center’s “Cowboy Songs and Range Ballads” program since its inception and has been part of their school program for many years. “My Life in Story and Song” presents his life through skits and songs. Sure to be enjoyed by the whole family this program is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts and locally from a grant with the NCSD Recreation District.
