Reading Is Fun

  • Date(s): Wednesday, February 12th 2014
  • Time: 6:30 p.m.
  • Location: Niobrara County Library

A skit, “The Little Red Racing Heart” will be presented for the first of three Reading Is Fun programs on February 12 at 6:30 p.m. Reading is Fun was originally presented at the library through the federal program “Reading is Fundamental”. Due to federal budget cuts that program is not available for our community any longer. The Friends of the Library knew this program was too valuable to discontinue and now through your donations to the Friends this program continues. Children, from preschool age and older are invited to come for an hour of literacy based programs, crafts and a snack too. But, the most valuable part of the program is free books for all who attend. Children will be able to select their very own book at each of the three programs that they can keep forever. Plan now to bring your kids to this fun event on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m.
