Register for Winter Afterschool Programs!

The Niobrara County Library will host two afterschool sessions beginning the week of January 4 at 3:35 p.m. and continuing until 4:45 p.m. The thematic programs include stories, interactive activities, crafting & tons of fun! Library programs are free and open to the public.

“At Home & Across the Ocean!” is planned for children in grades K-2 on Tuesdays. Come learn about food and treats at home and across the ocean! There will be fun food and toys to enjoy – all made by the children! The program begins on Tuesday, January 4 and continues through Tuesday, February 22!

Thursdays children in grades 3-6 will explore “the secret world of insects!” They creep and they flutter. How do fireflies make light? How do mosquitoes find you in the dark? How do flies walk upside down? Join us to find out these and other interesting facts about the fascinating world of insects. The program begins on Thursday, January 6 and continues through Thursday, February 23.
