The Baltic Capitals with Leslie Stewart

In October 2025, Leslie Stewart took a 3-week trip called The Baltic Capitals. The Baltic States are Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, which are all on the western side of the Baltic Sea near the Scandinavian countries. The trip also included visits to Krakow and Warsaw in Poland and Helsinki, Finland. The presentation will include photos showing the old central squares and the beauty of the architecture, from medieval to very modern. You will hear about the political situation in these countries that are right next to Ukraine and Russia. There will be stories of how the people live now. The Baltics are modern, bustling cities and countrysides that only 35 years ago were part of the USSR. They have retained the best of their heritage while still becoming part of modern Europe.
