Last Rites Held for Estil Gallion
Estil Gallion, 76, of Harrison died May 18 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keal Rising of Crawford.
He was born January 25, 1894, to Robert and Emma Gallion in Boyd County, Kentucky, where he spent his childhood. As a youth he traveled extensively, then settled in Kimball County, Neb., in 1929. In 1932 he moved to Banner County where he worked for several years. In June of 1966 he moved from Scottsbluff to the Melvin Nation home near Harrison. The last four years he resided with the Nation family and with the Keal Risings at Crawford.
He married in 1915 and became the father of one son.
He is survived by his son Willard of Eureka, Calif.; two brothers in Kentucky and a sister in Chicago.
Funeral services were held at the Houston Funeral Home in Crawford on May 21 with Rev. Billy Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Crawford cemetery.
