Services for Laurence Johnston, 76, of Sacramento, Calif., were held at St. Paul's Catholic Church., with interment at South East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Elk Grove, Calif. Mr. Johnston died May 16, 1999.
A native of Harrison, Neb., he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Elk Grove for many years.
He is survived by his Erva, wife of 51 years; four sons, Larry, Leonard, Roger and wife Bobbi, Phillip and wife Marie; one daughter Judith and husband Tom Moore; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Anita Geike, Leona Mason and Velma Caswell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Teresa Johnston, and sister Eva Moster.
