Hayden Jones Dies in Casper Dec. 24

Hayden Jones of Casper died December 22 at the Casper Hospital following a short illness. The Jones family are former residents of the field, and left here in the 50s.

Mr. Jones was born June 20, 1914, in Sunrise and attended school there and in Guernsey. On January 3, 1934, he and Doris Real were married in Guernsey. He was employed at the Burton Grocery for a time before going to work for the Continental Oil Company 30 years ago. At the time of his death he was senior analyst for the company. They resided in Lance Creek for several years, going from here to St. Morgan and Lynch, and moving to Casper in 1963. Mr. Jones was a member of Elks Lodge in Casper.

Funeral serviced were held December 24 at 11 a.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper. Pallbearers were Jacob Haberman of Lance Creek and Wm. Blackburn of Casper, Dean Long , Fred Aten, Ted Chambers, and Charles Tollman all formerly of the field. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife: four daughters, Mrs. Peggy Phillips of Denver , Mrs. Patricia Hyek and Mrs. Fran Brookes, both of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Davena Jones of Casper; one sister, Helen Jones of Denver and seven grandchildren.

Those from here attending he services were Mr. and Mrs. Jake Haberman.
