Graveside services for Gabrielle E. Kennedy, 94, were held Sept. 11, 1993, at the Lusk Cemetery with the Rev. Del Cowley officiating.
Mrs. Kennedy died Sept. 6, 1993, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Casper. She was born March 2, 1899, in Dracut, Mass., the daughter of George and Clara E. Scott Corson.
She was reared and educated in Blair, Neb., and worked as a bookkeeper for her father and various other businesses in Blair. She also worked as a housekeeper and cook for farms and ranches in Iowa, South Dakota and Wyoming.
She married Harry E. Kennedy May 11, 1932, in Kimball, Neb. They homesteaded south of Glenrock and moved to California in 1950. They moved back to Wyoming in 1962 and lived in Lusk until 1984.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two grandchildren.
Survivors include two children, Gale E. Kennedy, Casper; Grace Lamb, Farmersville, La.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
