Mrs. Kidder, 92, Dies Wed.; Services Sunday

Mrs. Selina Kidder, 92, longtime owner and operator of the Meadowdale store in the Meadowdale Community 12 miles south of Manville, died in the Rock Springs Hospital Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Funeral services were held from the Peet Chapel, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Richard Kornf, of the Manville Community Alliance Church, officiating. Mrs. Lyle Eddy and Mrs. Emerson Bonner sang "Work for Night is Coming" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. A. F. DeCastro was organist.

The pallbearers, all long-time friends and neighbors of Mrs. Kidder, were Doyle Blackmore, Ted Robinson, Edward Hughes, Roy McCormick, Elmer Johnson and Clayton Harvey. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Selina Mills was born August 30, 1873, at Central City, Nebr., one of 14 children of Elizabeth and Richard L. Mills.

On December 25, 1895 she and Harry L. Kidder were married. In 1915 Mr. and Mrs. Kidder with their four children moved to the Meadowdale Community, where Mrs. Kidder has lived ever since, with the exception of brief periods she has stayed at the homes of her daughters the last three years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. C. B. Dawson of Manville and Mrs. M. D. Wilder of Rock Springs; two sons, Lloyd Lewis Kidder and Harry Lee Kidder of Los Angeles; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. F. B. Daniels of Central City.

Mr. Kidder died in October 1940.
