Frederick Krei Dies Last Thurs. Funeral Saturday

Funeral service was held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel for Frederick William Krei, 83, who died April 13 at the Goshen County Memorial Hospital in Torrington.

The Rev. Robert Boutwell, pastor of the Congregational Church, conducted the service with Russell Olmsted singing "Beautiful Isle" and "Beyond the Sunset". Organist was Mrs. A. F. DeCastro.

Casket bearers were Martin Glandt, Richard Ladwig, Don Taylor, A. F. DeCastro, Fred Sheaman and Burt Kaper. Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery.

Frederick William Krei, the son of William and Mary Krei, was born January 9, 1889, at Sidney, Neb. He attended schools and grew to manhood at Sidney.

He married Elizabeth Cegledy on August 26, 1926, at Fort Collins, Colo. After their marriage they moved to his father's farm near Sidney. In 1928 they moved to a ranch 2 miles north of Manville and in 1968 they moved to Lusk.

His parents, wife Elizabeth, a brother and sister died previously. He is survived by his son Richard, Glenview, Ill., two grandchildren, two sisters, Bertha Bush of Fullerton, Calif., and Anna Hacker of Los Angeles, Calif.
