Last Rites Held For Chuck Kuhnel
Attending the funeral for Charles "Chuck" Kuhnel from Harrison on July 2 at Crawford Catholic Church were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Marsteller and Rick, Mr. and Mrs. William Grimm and family, and Alphonsus Donohue.
Charles was born January 13, 1953, at Chadron and drowned at Whitney Lake June 28.
In infancy he was baptized in the Catholic Church at Crawford.
He attended most of his grade school in California and graduated from the 8th grade in Sioux County at Harrison. He graduated from Crawford High School in May of this year.
He worked at Mobil and Sioux Dawes Co-op stations during his school years.
Survivors are his father, Charles Kuhnel of Crawford, his mother Jocie Kuhnel of Sylmar, Calif., two brothers, Edwin in the United States Army at Fort Ord, Calif., and Steve of Crawford; two sisters, Esther and Vickie of Calif.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Kuhnel of Orosi, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoffman of Crawford.
