Mable Langley, Long-Time Nio. Resident, Dies

Mrs. Glenn (Mable Ruth) Langley, 65, of Lusk died Sunday, Dec. 27, at Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday December 29, at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Mortuary. The Rev. Robert Boutwell officiated.

Mrs. Ab DeCastro, organist accompanied Miss Michele Baribeau as she sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Casket bearers were Jim Meng, Horace Graham, James Wasserburger, Ted Jones, Leroy Christianson and Ab DeCastro.

Honorary bearers were Raymond Christianson, Woodson Graham, Bill Magoon, Henry Wasserburger, Sr., Albert Glasby and Todd Pate.

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery

She was born to Henry and Carrie Graham Edwell, February 18, 1905, at Lincoln, Neb. She married Mack Rawhouser in 1922 and they were the parents of a daughter, Dorothy and a son Charles. After Mr. Rawhouser's death in 1929 she moved to Lusk.

She married Glenn Langley, a rancher, May 31, 1949, at Cheyenne. They lived on his ranch in the Hat Creek area until they retired in 1967 and moved to Lusk

Her parents, three brothers, and three sisters died previously.

Survivors include her widower Glenn of the family home; Charles Rawhouser of Crawford, Nebr., Mrs. Dorothy McDaniels of Hat Creek; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Mitchell of Los Angeles.

A memorial to the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital has been established.
