From there he returned to Niobrara County and worked on the range for a few years with sheep. Later he moved to Lusk, and after suffering a heart attack in 1962 spent the rest of his life in the Veteran's Hospital in Hot Springs, S. D. and in nursing homes in Chadron and Hay Springs. Recently he was presented a Life Certificate to the American Legion having served the organization for 50 years.

Mr. Marshall is survived by three brothers, Benton of Chadron, Neb., Milo of Virginia and Dale of Colorado; a sister Mrs. Keeney of Lusk.
