Funeral Held for Ralph McCormick

Ralph Harvey McCormick, 68, died at the Casper hospital December 18. Funeral services were held in Lusk Tuesday, Dec. 22 at the Peet Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert Boutwell officiated. Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery, Douglas, Wyo.

Mrs. Ab DeCastro, organist, accompanied Mrs. Russ Olmstead as she sang "Beautiful Isles of Somewhere" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Casket bearers were his nephews, Calvin Martin, Sherman Martin, James McCormick, Robert McCormick, Albert Martin and Donald Martin.

He was born to George W. and Nellie May McCormick at Clearwater, Neb., July 4, 1902. He moved with his family in 1907 to a homestead south of Van Tassell. He spent most of his life ranching. He operated an auto repair shop and for five years owned and operated the Silver Cliff Hotel.

His parents and one brother died previously.

Survivors include two brothers, Roy of Glendo and Addison of Preston, Mo.; three sisters, Hatti Bryant of Casper, Nellie Martin of Pavillion, Wyo., and Esther Rider of Douglas.
