Graveside rites held Wednesday
Graveside rites for Emma A. Moreland was being held at the Lusk Cemetery Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Bozart officiating. Mrs. Moreland died May 2 at Douglas.
Emma A. Moreland was born near Decorah, Iowa, June 4, 1898. She married Paul F. Moreland Dec. 14, 1918 at Rock Island, Ill. They moved to Lusk where for several years they operated a cafe. Following the death of her husband she was employed at various cafes and for several years was employed at the Spencer Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Moreland, New York City, N. Y.: sisters and brothers-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Pinky Sheppard, Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. Rola Moreland, Eatonville, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robertson, Puyullap, Wash. and Daisy Moreland, Rocklin, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband one son Paul C. Moreland who died April 10, 1976.
