Orville B. Francis, 97 Bethany, Mo. Passed away Saturday, December 26, at a Bethany, Mo. Nursing home.
Born on April 26, 1901 in Harrison County, Mo. Mr. Francis was a retired farmer.
Mr. Francis was a member of the First Christian Church, Bethany, where he served as a deacon for forty years. He also was a former member of the Bethany Rotary Club.
He married Ruth Garton who passed away in 1976.
After her death he married Ruth Monger who died in 1985 and later he married Hazel Shoemaker who died in 1988.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Addie Francis, a grandson, George Pierson, five sisters, and 2 brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Pierson, Bethany; a sister Arlene Robinson, Amarillo, Tex.; a nephew, Darryl Manring, Lusk, Wyo., 5 grandchildren 10 great - grandchildren and 6 great-great- grandchildren. Services were December 30; burial was in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Bethany, Mo. In care of Robertson Funeral Home, P. O.
