Reverend Esther H. Bozart

Funeral services for Reverend Esther H. Bozart, 88, of Lusk, were held Aug 23, 2002, at the Congregational Church in Lusk. Officiants were Reverend Juanita Gilles, Reverend Mark Lohr, and Reverend Frank Bozart, with interment following in the Lusk cemetery.

Esther H. Bozart died Aug. 19, 2002, in Torrington, Wyo.

Esther was born Oct. 4, 1913 in Eleva, Wisc. To Oscar and Agnes Moe Aasen.

She lived on the family farm near Eleva and attended country school.

At age 13, she moved with her parents to Eau Claire, Wisc. She finished her formal education in the city.

On March 14, 1939, she married Reverend Frank Bozart. Esther was Frank's assistant in the pastoring of 14 churches, during 52 years of ministry.

She was an avid reader; her favorite book of all time was "The Holy Bible."

Her favorite hymns were "My God and I," "No Disappointments in Heaven" and "Safe in the Arms Of Jesus."

She is survived by her husband Reverend Frank Bozart of Lusk; her daughter Patricia Jarnagin of Ellensburg, Wash.; her granddaughter, Jennifer Jarnagin also of Ellensburg; one sister; Ruth Aasen Hawes of Redding, Calif.; and two brothers, Daniel Aasen of San Diego. Calif., and David Aasen of Seattle, Wash.

Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Lusk or to the Lusk Ambulance.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
