Former Dogie Creek Resident Dies
Mrs. Mary Ellen O'Shea, 71, died in Miles City, Mont. March 19. Mrs. O'Shea with her husband homesteaded in the Dogie Creek community, residing there for 25 years.
Funeral services were held at 10: 00 a.m. March 22 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.
Mrs. O'Shea was born June, 1888 in County Cork, Ireland and came to the United States in 1913. She married John O'Shea in New York City in 1916. They came to Wyoming on their honeymoon and homesteaded in the Dogie Creek area where they lived until 1941. They ranched near Biddle from 1941 until moving to Miles City in 1958.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Oliver Pearson of Miles City; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
