No funeral services will be held for Clara Elizabeth Stringham, 79.
Mrs. Stringham died at her home in Douglas, Wyoming Sunday, Nov. 5.
She was born Nov. 5, 1927 in Miltonvale, Kansas the daughter of Hershel and Jennie (Briggs) Owen. She was reared and educated in Goodland, Kansas. She married Robert Stringham Nov. 3, 1944 in Concordia, Kansas. They moved to Wyoming in 1951, and to Lost Springs, Wyoming in 1969. She retired after 31 years as post master of the Lost Springs Post Office. She enjoyed collecting antiques.
She is survived by eight children, Robert Stringham of Warren, Ohio; Carl Stringham of Mesa, Ariz.; Alfred Stringham of Lost Springs; Nellie Bowdish of Glenrock; Joann Stringham of Red Wing, Minn.; Arthur Stringham of Lost Springs; Stephen Stringham of Traverse City, Mich.; and Myra Stringham of Sheridan; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Stringham on July 28; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Gorman Funeral Homes - Converse Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
