Mrs. Delia Polly Dies After Long Siege of Illness

Death came at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night June 13th, to relieve the sufferings of Mrs. Delia Polly, who for some time past was a patient at the Lusk hospital, a victim of cancer. Mrs. Polly had been a sufferer of this disease since early in 1929, when she underwent an operation for relief. This failed to help her, and since then she had suffered constantly.

The deceased was born on November 13, 1879 at Minneapolis, Kans. She was married on February 26, 1899 and lived most of her married life on a farm near Riverton, Nebr. She had resided in this city some of the time during the past several years.

Surviving are seven children: Lawrence Edwin, Mrs. Anna Olive Pagett, Herbert Howard, Rawland, Mrs. Evangeline Blanche Holloway, Mrs. Pearl Evelyn Deitz and Eugene William.

Funeral services were held from the Peet funeral parlors Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, Rev. Edwin F. Irwin, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Robert Taylor and Mrs. H. J. Templeton. Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery.
