Paul Pattee Dies At Custer, S. D.
Paul Pattee, 65, died November 24 at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Maggie Pattee in Custer. He had been feeling OK until a fall Sunday which may or may not have contributed to his death.
Paul Arnold Pattee was a born at Clearwater, Neb. November 21, 1906. He was employed as a printer-operator at the Marion (S.D.) Record from 1928 to 1956, at Harrison, Neb. until 1959 when he "came with the plant" to Edgemont where he worked at the Herald-Tribune until retirement in 1966.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Maggie Pattee, Custer; four grandchildren, Arnold in Viet Nam, Alma, Patricia, and Melodee, Custer; one sister, Alma Ingram, Hemet, Calif.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Paul Arnold, Jr. in infancy, Clarence Eugene at age 5; and Louis James, August 20, 1963.
