Richard Garratson dies at Rawlins, Wyo.
Richard Garratson, 85, died of a stroke at Rawlins last week. He was born in Indiana in 1890 and lived for several years in Sioux County.
He worked as a carpenter at Elk Mountain until he retired. He is survived by his wife Gladys; two sons, Virgil Garratson of Cora, Wyo., and LaVerne Garratson of Laramie; one daughter, Vivian Vondy of Brush, Colo.; four grandsons, and four granddaughters; and one sister, Lara Curtright of Boulder, Colo.
