Mrs. Rapp, 82, Dies Wednesday

Mrs. Katherine Rapp, 82, of Lance Creek died early last Wednesday morning at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital. She had entered the hospital on Friday. Mrs. Rapp had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Felt for the past three years.

Services were held Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk with Rev. Fred Schuett officiating. Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang "Nearer My God To Thee" and the congregation sang "I'm But a Stranger Here."

Pallbearers were James Felt, Royce Nelson, Lawrence Felt, Carl Rapp, Alvin Schoessler and Karl Kober. Burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Katherine Winterheller was born December 2, 1883 to Gottlieb and Christina Mut Winterheller in Underwalter, Russia. She came to the United States with her parents in October 1912.

On March 14, 1915 she was married to William Rapp at Park City, Mont. The couple came to Wyoming following their marriage to make their home. They had three children Carl, Albert and Anne. Mr. Rapp died in May 1933.

Mrs. Rapp is survived by children: Carl of Pasa Robles, Calif., Albert of Renton, Wash. and Mrs. Clyde (Anne) Felt of Lance Creek: 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Carl Winterheller of Lovell, Wyo., Fred Winterheller of Detroit, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister.

Out-of-town relatives here for the services were; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rapp and Roberta of Renton, Wash.; Miss Katherine Rapp of Bozeman, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Winterholler, Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. Royce Nelson, Billy and Jeanine of Torrington; Mr. and Mrs. James Felt, Lorie and Jimmie, Littleton, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Felt, Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Lydia Parks of Casper, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rapp, Pasa Robles, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Rapp, Laramie; Helen and Carol Rapp, Laramie; Mrs. Henry Ostwalt, Laurel, Mont., Karl Kober of Park City, Mont.
