Robert (Robby) Wright Babcock II
Robert (Robby) Wright Babcock II born August 21, 1986 died on February 18, 2004.
Robby was a senior at Irvington High School in Fremont and previously attended Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton. He wrestled and played football, yet his true passion was skiing. From the time Robby could talk, he made friends wherever he went. Robby's smile would light up a room and he gave of himself lovingly and selflessly. He had a zest for life and treasured his family and friends.
Robby is survived by and held in beloved memory by his father Robert W. Babcock of Fremont, Calif., his mother Katherine Linnemann of Menlo Park, Calif., and sister Katie Babcock; his dear friends Kathy Wahlen and daughter Mollie; his aunt, Janet L. Babcock of South Royalton, Vt., his aunt and uncle Sheryl M. and George Babcock of Omha, N Neb., his uncle Edward W. Babcock of Omaha, Neb., his aunt Mary E. C. Babcock of San Francisco, Calif., his aunt and uncle Elizabeth H. and Joseph Cox, his aunt and uncle Denise and Steve Watanabe of Southern California, his aunt and uncle Adrian Hale and Marvin of Bellingham, Wash., his grandparents Wayne and Evelyn (Babcock) Eipperle of Omaha, Neb., his grandparents Dr. Lawrence and June Linnemann of Washington and cousins Andy, Christopher, Kevin, George, Mark and Sarah.
Robby is preceded in death by his grandfather, George W. Babcock, Jr. of Omaha, Neb. and grandmother, Rita Babcock Wise of Lusk Wyo.
A memorial service for Robby was held in Palo Alto. Memorials may be offered to the Breast Cancer Fund, (a charitable organization Robby supported), c/o Kirkwood Community, P.O.
