Mrs. Scott Dies in Calif. Thurs.

Mrs. Frank Scott, 72, a former Lusk resident, died in Los Angeles last Thursday. Mrs. Scott had suffered from arthritis for 30 years, growing progressively more disabled the past few years.

High Mass of Requiem was sung by the Rev. Cornelius O'Connor at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Lusk. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Bearers were: Harry Austin, Art Dalgarno, Joe Pfister, Walt Farrell of Denver, Roy Johnson and Carl Bruch.

Mrs. Scott was born at Whitney, Nebr. January 25, 1890. She married Frank Scott in Sioux City, Ia. in September 1915 and they were the parents of two sons, Donald R. and James A. The Scott family came to Lusk in 1926. Mr. Scott worked as watchmaker for H.R. Daniels of Daniels Jewelry until 1929 when he purchased the firm and changed the name to Scott Jewelry. Mr. Scott died July 14, 1958 and for the past three and a half years Mrs. Scott has made her home with her sister, Mrs. E.N. Bolt in California.

Survivors include her two sons, Donald R. of West Hartford, Conn. and James A. of Evanston; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Cosgrove, Chicago, Mrs. Caroline White, Spooner, Wis., Mrs. Bolt, Hollywood, Calif. and Mrs. Blanche Christensen, Van Nuys, Calif.; three brothers, Charles D. Leetch, Oceanside, Calif., Wm. H. Leetch of Newhall, Calif., and James T. Leetch, Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Donald Scott, Mrs. White, Mrs. Bolt were all in Lusk to attend the services. Others from out-of-town attending the services were I.R. Scott of Laramie, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Farrell of Denver and Mr. and Mrs. Dalman Phillips of Chadron.
