A memorial service for Gunbjorg H. Sigvartsen, 64, of Lusk, was held Feb. 7, 2003 at the Lusk Alliance Church, with Pastor Jason Playle officiating.
Mrs. Sigvartsen died Feb. 3, 2003, in Casper, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 26, 1938, in Espever, Norway to Ole and Hedis Storksen.
She moved to the United States in 1957, and married Kaare A. Sigvartsen on Nov. 23, 1957.
She was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She also was an artist.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, three sons, Dan and his wife Debbie of Goldbeach, Ore.; Ole and his wife Patti of Lusk and Tom and his wife Carol of Lusk; two brothers, Helmer of Norway; and Henrick of Goldbeach, Ore.; sister Wence of Norway and grandchildren, aunts, nephews, nieces, and caring friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Cary; one daughter, Eileen and one grandson, Alexander.
Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
