Pauline Singree Rites Tuesday
Pauline Aliveine Singree, 99, of Ft. Laramie, Wyoming died at a local hospital Sunday, October 11, at 11:30 p.m. She had been in the hospital for the past month.
She was born in Riverton, Indiana October 22, 1879, the daughter of F. W. and Aliveine Bessen Beyer. She was united in marriage to Melvin Singree at McConnelsville, Ohio, February 9, 1909. They came west in 1916 and homesteaded 5 miles west of Jay Em, Wyoming. Mr. Singree passed away in 1950, and since 1965, Mrs. Singree has been residing on the George Borton ranch, north of Ft. Laramie.
Mrs. Singree has no known relatives, but was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services were held in Valley View Cemetery, Tuesday, October 13th at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor LaVoy Garner officiating.
Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home of Torrington.
